The Czech melodic black/death band Secret of Darkness from Prague was founded at 2005. The band has recorded three full length albums (In)Humanity (2011), Neotericus Universum (2014) and Blacksun Rising (2023). Aggressive riffs, energetic guitar solos and dark melodies are typical for their music.

The band was founded by members Daniel Pénzes-Gyurický (Sorg) and Michal Klus (Berith) at the beginning of 2021. You can find a lot of genres and different elements in this music full of cold melancholy, which makes the style basically impossible to define. With a little exaggeration, it can perhaps be described as Modern-Post-Melodic-Death-Atmospheric-Groove-Depressive-Core-Suicidal-Black-Metal.
